Caroline York World of Art® is all about a relationship between an artist, his art and its cognitive affect within a specific space.

I love artists. Whether they work in oil, acrylic, pastels, crayon, egg tempera on canvas or paper or board or found objects - whether they create marble or onxy sculpture or work with wood, metal or mixed media - I love their special gifts and their creative process. Originally I wanted to help artists get greater recognition and increase sales in their own home towns and thought it would be great if I could help artists across the country. So, in September, 2001 I incorporated my business in the State of Florida and began the pursuit of a website developer. I thought that I could use the internet to let people know where to find the artists in their communities. So I added the artists e-mail addresses and websites as well as their artwork and was delighted to see the results. I thought that when people saw the magnificent work created by artists in their own communities that they would naturally run down and buy it.

Having worked as a design coordinator in the hospitality industry, apprenticed under one of the great interior designers Stanley Faye of Philadelphia, developed an art gallery for the Blumenfeld corporation and curated a month long art exhibit at the Gateway Center for the Prudential Corporation - I knew that I could help artists sell their artwork. The amount I didn't know could fill volumes...

Things have changed! Lessons learned!! I still focus on sales and marketing but also provide art education and information for both the artist and the consumer. I now consult with artists to help them build their art businesses and consult with businesses to use art to stimulate sales and performance. For a more detailed search, click on DETAILED and it will allow you to narrow your search; or go to the top of the center column and click on the category of your choice.

MY SELECTIONS: We’ve added a feature to make your selections easier. While browsing through the artwork just click on “Add to my selections” under each image you would like to see again. When you have finished browsing just go to the top of the page and click on “View my Selections.”

ARTISTS: Get to know our artists through their biographies and statements. See their entire collection of artwork in their personal galleries or review each piece of artwork individually. Special features allow you to enlarge the image for clarity, use a magnifying glass to see detail or view 2 and 3-dimensional works with our 360º tool. Purchase the artwork with total security and all in the privacy of your home or office.

GALLERIES: We will soon be featuring Galleries from across the country. You can buy or sell pre-owned fine art through our on-line USArtResale.com Gallery or select a Print, Giclees or Ltd. Edition work created by our selected artists from our Print & Reproduction Gallery. This includes special order oil on canvas reproductions of old masters.
